1) Blackest Night #8 tomorrow!

Reasons I Woke Up Today
1) Brom. The dude was awesome, and he signed my Deadlands book!
2) Sand. The dude is awesome, it's always good to be able to see your best friend.
3) "I like fake boobs. And real ones, big or small, its all good. I don’t mind that fake ones look fake. To me, boobs are like spaceships (no, not ‘cos I never get to touch either of them); it’s like, you see a picture of the space shuttle and you go ‘wow, that’s awesome, a real life spaceship!’ And then you see a picture of an Imperial Star Destroyer, and you go ‘WOW. I totally know that’s not real, but that is really awesome. And so BIG. Unrealistically so, but still …’ You don’t go ‘hrmph, I don’t like fake spaceships.’"

Reasons I Woke Up Today
1) Working from home!!
2) Cajun fries
3) "Listening to this gloomy, heroin-soaked collection of songs had me ready to quit my job, divorce my wife and hunt down Nick and tell him he was to blame. Instead, I kept the job and bought the rest of his albums. The jury's still out about the marriage, but in the end, I'm convinced that my life will end in a fiery disaster and Nick will somehow be to blame."

Reasons I Woke Up Today
1) "Everyone has regrets, Lieutenant... and the consequences of our actions, of the choices we make, can stay with us for a long time. I only stopped by to say that I hope you won't let your past dictate your future- and to wish you well."
2) Iced mocha frappuccino (even if it's the bottled Starbucks' kind....)
3) Fox hand-puppets!
4) Running the full 22 minutes without dying after three weeks of inactivity.
5) Dan Dido, Jim Lee, and Geoff Johns. F'n A.

Reasons I Woke Up Today
1) "However, by the early 1970s, exclamation points were mostly used because comic writers wanted them, not because they had to. It was useful in making comics seem dynamic. If everyone is shouting, then some pretty cool stuff must be going on, right (see the TV series 24 for the same basic concept)?"
2) Businesses that don't lay off

3) "The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace and conspire against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than a monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, and more selfish than bureaucracy. It denounces as public enemies, all who question its methods or throw light upon its crimes. I have two great enemies, the Southern Army in front of me and the Bankers in the rear. Of the two, the one at my rear is my greatest foe.. corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money powers of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in the hands of a few, and the Republic is destroyed."
